📖 True Story
Shelter Cats Become Bookstore Hosts
A shop gave adoptable cats sunny window seats and soft readers for company.
A small bookstore partnered with a local shelter. A few calm cats took turns living in the shop while waiting for forever homes.
Shoppers read on floor cushions while cats napped in sunbeams. Many visitors came for a book and left talking about a new feline friend.
Several cats found families through the partnership. The shop kept a photo wall of successful matches.
